Ara Project
We travel to Punta lslita, where we’ll spend some time at the beach. After the beach, we will go to the ARA project, a local refuge for Macaws, and an active participant in restoring their natural habitat. Coffee Tour
This tour will take you by van to the Cafetal Santa Rosa, which is located in the upper Zaragoza region. At 1440 ft. above sea level, this altitude is favorable for the cultivation of coffee, which needs a cool climate in order to prosper. The bean cultivated in this reg ion is a high quality bean, which is totally organic, and shade grown. The shade is provided by local trees such as the Guarumo, Nance, Guayabo, Cerezo, and others. During the tour we will discuss the reg ion and its vegetation, as well as the details of the entire process that the coffee follows from the farm to your cup. The tour ends with a Coffee Tasting in the Cabana, with a magnificent view of the Pacific Coast.

Rio Celeste & Llanos del Cortes
Jump in the van & come with us to Rio Celeste & the Llanos del Cortes! Rio Celeste is famous throughout the world for its turquoise blue water, and the Llanos de Cortez for its stunning waterfalls where we will swim, play and hike. Please note that you will have an easy trek of about 1 hour and several stairs to get to Rio Celeste. There is also an uneven stairway/trail to climb down to the Llanos de Cortez. The hike up is more gentle.
